Georgia Tech #ProJackets Baseball Report

THE FLATS — With three #ProJackets in Trevor Craport (South Atlantic League), Matthew Gorst(Carolina League) and Arden Pabst (Florida State League) having already been named all-stars, a number of other #ProJackets are making their case for an all-star vote in their respective league this season.

At the MLB level, Derek Dietrich continues to swing a hot bat hitting .429 with two home runs, six RBIs and six runs scored over his last seven games for the Miami Marlins, while despite a recent slump, Charlie Blackmon continues to rank in the top-10 in the National League in a number of offensive categories.

In the Atlantic League, an independent league, right-handed pitcher Brandon Cumpton is on the all-star ballot, as the #ProJacket is 3-2 with 27 strikeouts over eight starts and 46.1 innings pitched on the mound for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. Vote here to get Cumpton to the all-star game.

Jake Esch is 3-1 with the St. Paul Saints in the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball league, while Luke Bard has struck out 19 batters over 17.0 innings and posted a 2.65 ERA for the Rochester Red Wings (Triple-A) in the International League.

Along with Dusty Isaacs, who has been promoted to the Buffalo Bisons (Triple-A) twice this season, Daniel Spingola was recently promoted to the Tennessee Smokies (Double-A).

Below is a complete list of Tech #ProJackets playing professionally this season.
