THE FLATS – The storied Georgia Tech-Georgia football rivalry will return to primetime for the first time in 13 years on Saturday, Nov. 25, when the 117th edition of Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at Tech’s Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field. The game will be televised nationally on ABC.
The primetime kickoff is the first in the Georgia Tech-Georgia series since 2010 and the first for the Yellow Jackets-Bulldogs showdown in Atlanta since ’09. It also marks Georgia Tech’s first appearance in ABC’s primetime slot since its 2017 game at Clemson and the first time that Tech has hosted a primetime game on network television since its 2011 home game against Clemson on ABC.
Pregame festivities officially kick off with Helluva Block Party, which will begin at 3:30 p.m. on North Avenue and include a concert by Ludacris, beginning immediately following Yellow Jacket Alley (Tech’s arrival at Bobby Dodd Stadium) at 5 p.m. The Helluva Block Party concert is FREE to all fans in attendance for the game.

Competitive Drive Initiative Turn 2
Looking to build on the success of last year’s Competitive Drive Initiative, Georgia Tech, the Georgia Tech Foundation and Georgia Tech athletics are partnering once again to launch Competitive Drive Initiative Turn 2. CDI Turn 2 has a goal of raising $2.5 million in new gifts to the Alexander-Tharpe Fund’s Athletic Scholarship Fund by Dec. 31, and Georgia Tech and the Georgia Tech Foundation will match eligible gifts to accelerate the impact for Tech athletics. Like last year, not only will gifts to CDI Turn 2 be matched, but so will the contributor’s benefits in the way of A-T Fund giving levels and priority points.
