Georgia Tech Announces Basketball Time Changes

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech Director of Athletics Dave Braine announced game time changes Thursday, November 30 for three upcoming Yellow Jacket men’s and women’s basketball games.

The men’s basketball contest against Harvard on Dec. 28 has been moved to 4:00 p.m. in order to allow Tech fans to participate in evening Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl festivities.

The women’s basketball game against St. Francis (Pa.) on Dec. 29, as part of the Georgia Tech/Atlanta Marriott NW Holiday Invitational, has been moved from a 2:00 p.m. start to a 12 Noon tipoff. The second game of the tournament, between Fresno State and Alabama State, will start at 2:00 p.m., rather than its original time of 4:00 p.m.

Both games were moved to avoid conflict with Georgia Tech’s participation in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, which begins at 5:00 p.m. on Dec. 29. The second day of the tournament will be unaffected, with the consolation game at 2:00 p.m. and the championshp game at 4:00 p.m. on Dec. 30.

The Yellow Jacket football team will face a yet-to-be determined opponent in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
