THE FLATS – Georgia Tech football’s Nov. 20 matchup at Notre Dame will kick off at 2:30 p.m. ET and be televised nationally on NBC, the schools announced on Thursday.
The Yellow Jackets and Fighting Irish are squaring off for the second-straight season and 37th time overall. Tech has split its only two visits to Notre Dame in the past 40 seasons, with a 30-22 loss to the No. 8-ranked Irish in 2015 and a dominant 33-3 victory over ND in 2007. Notre Dame, which won the regular-season Atlantic Coast Conference championship and earned a berth in the College Football Playoff in 2020, is widely expected to be a preseason top-10 team again in ’21.
Game times for Georgia Tech’s first three games of the 2021 season (Sept. 4 vs. Northern Illinois, Sept. 11 vs. Kennesaw State and Sept. 18 at Clemson) will be announced this summer by the ACC and ESPN.
