An athletic forward who earned all-state honors in Alabama, Jalon Moore was rated a three-star prospect when he signed with the Yellow Jackets. A long and athletic player who can guard multiple positions, Moore played short minutes in 13 games (nine ACC games), but saw his playing time increase in Tech’s games against Syracuse, Virginia Tech and Notre Dame (averaged 16 minutes) last in the season. He started and played 13 minutes in Tech’s ACC Tournament game against Louisville. Moore reached the scoring column in each of the last six games in which he played, hitting 6-of-17 shots from the floor with a couple of three-point field goals. He scored a season-hig 13 points (5-6 FG) with six rebounds on Jan. 23 against Clayton State.
