Fox Named ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech linebacker Keyaron Fox was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Defensive Lineman of the Week following the Yellow Jackets’ 17-2 win over Duke last Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium/Grant Field.

Fox led an outstanding performance by the Georgia Tech defense when the Yellow Jackets did not allow a score as Duke’s only points came on a safety. Tech held the Blue Devils to just 284 yards of offense and allowed Duke to cross midfield only three times in the game.

Fox, a junior from Atlanta, Ga., had eight tackles, two tackles for loss with one sack, an interception and a fumble recovery. The interception was the first of his career, and Fox returned it 35 yards to the Duke 21-yard line, setting up a field goal.
