Fourth Annual Michael Isenhour Toy Drive

Nov. 16, 2004

ATLANTA–The Georgia Tech Student-Athlete Advisory Board will sponsor the fourth annual Michael Isenhour Memorial Toy Drive at the Saturday’s football game against Virginia, which kicks off at 1 p.m. at Bobby Dodd Stadium/Grant Field.

Fans are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the game. Tech student-athletes from all sports will be collecting items at all gates of Bobby Dodd Stadium, beginning 90 minutes prior to kickoff.

Toys will be donated to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

The Toy Drive is named in honor of former Tech basketball letterman and Student-Athlete Advisory Board member Michael Isenhour, who died in 2002 following a battle with leukemia. Isenhour spearheaded the first Toy Drive in 2001, and since then, the Advisory Board has continued the annual project in his memory.
