Flyover Set for Saturday’s Heroes Day Game

THE FLATS – In recognition of Heroes Day, two U.S. Army helicopters will fly over Bobby Dodd Stadium prior Saturday’s football game between Georgia Tech and Bowling Green.

Arranged in partnership by Georgia Tech athletics, the Institute’s Army ROTC and the Georgia Army National Guard, the flyover will feature two HH-60M Black Hawk helicopters.

Fans are urged to arrive at Bobby Dodd Stadium early and be in their seats by 11:40 a.m. in order to witness the flyover. Kickoff is set for noon.

In addition to honoring military personnel and first responders as part of Heroes Day, Saturday’s game will also be a part of Georgia Tech’s annual Family Weekend and feature GT athletics’ celebration of groundbreaking African-American student-athletes.
