Days to Play in Medal of Honor Bowl

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Georgia Tech B-Back Synjyn Days will play in the 2015 Medal of Honor Bowl at Johnson Hagood Stadium on the campus of The Citadel. Saturday’s game will kick at 2:30 p.m. ET on the NBC Sports Network. Live statistics will be available via this link.

Days is among the 104 players to participate in the Medal of Honor Bowl, which is divided into the American and National teams. He will play for the American squad.

Days, an All-ACC honorable mention by ACSMA and the league’s head coaches, rushed for a career-high 924 yards and nine TDs in 14 games as a senior. He rushed for a career-high 171 yards and scored a career-high-tying three TDs in Tech’s 49-34 Orange Bowl win over Mississippi State. The Marietta, Ga., product finished his career with 1,396 rushing yards, which ranks 31st in Georgia Tech history.

Georgia Tech (11-3) won 11 games for only the fifth time in school history, capping off the 2014 season with a 49-34 win over Mississippi State in the Capital One Orange Bowl.
