CG: I love soccer — it’s my second-favorite sport

RW: Why did you choose Georgia Tech?
CG: Campus life, and it’s close to home

RW: If you could bring one thing from your hometown, what would it be?
CG: My car

RW: What is the best piece of advice that a coach gave you?
CG: Rise to the occasion. That’s what champions do. Play your game, believe in yourself and good things will happen.

RW: What was the most interesting thing you did this summer?
CG: Was on campus for five weeks over the summer experience life on the GT campus.

RW: What would be your ultimate sports center highlight?
CG: Game-winning hit game-winning run in the World Series.

RW: What player, if any, do you pattern your game after?
CG: Brian Giles — I love how he played the game.

RW: What is your dream job?
CG: Pro baseball player or FBI agent

RW: Name the most interesting place you’ve visited.
CG: The Grand Canyon

RW: What’s the one memory that stands out from your childhood?
CG: My freshman year, we reached the state final four and I hit two home runs in one game and had six hits in the series.

RW: What’s your nickname? Reasoning behind it?
CG: Cam or KillaCam. KillaCam happened because when I played football in high school, the first time I came out I had no idea what to do so I just went and hit someone even if it wasn’t the guy I was suppose to.

RW: What is your favorite Georgia Tech tradition?
CG: The Ramblin Wreck driving through campus before home football games
