Georgia Tech Cheerleading members are ambassadors, entertainers, crowd leaders, and student-athletes who uphold the integrity of The Georgia Institute of Technology. Generating Yellow Jacket spirit and crowd involvement at Georgia Tech is the common goal for the program!
Georgia Tech Cheerleading is a fixture of Georgia Tech Athletics and essential to the Georgia Tech community for promoting school spirit and representing Georgia Tech to a national and global audience. The program attends all home football games, men’s and women’s basketball games, volleyball matches, as well as travel football games, bowl games, and basketball tournament games. Outside of athletics, Georgia Tech Cheer is very active in the Atlanta community, and attends multiple events on and off campus each year.
Competing for the Georgia Tech Cheerleading program is a challenging and rewarding sport. Each April, the cheerleading program competes at NCA College Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida. In the 2024 season, the program competed in both the all-girl and large coed divisions.
