Basketball Teams Host HoopsFest

ATLANTA–The Georgia Tech men’s and women’s basketball teams will host HoopsFest on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 5 p.m. at Alexander Memorial Coliseum at McDonald’s Center.

Head coaches Paul Hewitt and MaChelle Joseph and members of the men’s and women’s teams will be available for autographs and photos for a one-hour period. Free posters will be distributed.

Children are invited to dress in Halloween costumes and trick-or-treat at HoopsFest. A costume contest will be held, and the grand prize includes a basketball autographed by Coach Hewitt and Coach Joseph, two tickets to a men’s game, a women’s coupon book, a T-shirt and a hat.

Admission to Hoopsfest is free, and free parking is available in the AMC and O’Keefe parking lots. Fans should enter at Gate 2 or Gate 3.

Following HoopsFest, fans are invited to attend the Georgia Tech volleyball match at 7 p.m. as the Yellow Jackets host Miami at 7 p.m. at O’Keefe Gymnasium, adjacent to Alexander Memorial Coliseum.
