Complete 2019 Promotional Schedule
THE FLATS – With the upcoming baseball season just four days away, 17th-ranked Georgia Tech today announced the 2019 promotions, theme days and special events calendar. The year’s schedule is highlighted by Avengers Night, Jersey Koozies, Greek and Trivia Nights and a plethora of giveaways.
Theme days will be a big part of gamedays at Russ Chandler Stadium this season. The Yellow Jackets will hold Trivia Nights three times this season (Feb. 26, March 12, May 14), Greek Night (March 26), Derby Day (May 4) and Avengers Night on Saturday, April 27. Tech will also host Junior Jacket Day on March 3, an Alumni Night on April 27 and a Salute to Service Day, where GT baseball honors military and first responders with free admission.
New this season is Georgia Tech baseball’s “Nine Innings of Winning.” Throughout the games on April 5 (North Carolina) and May 17 (Pitt), a giveaway will be raffled off each and every inning, maximizing fans’ chance to take home swags and goodies. Other giveaway events include five apparel giveaway games this season, fans will also have chances to nab GT baseball Jersey Koozies, GT beanies and a specialty poster for Avengers Night.
Every Sunday home game throughout the season is Kids Run the Bases, giving young Tech fans the chance to run the bases at Russ Chandler Stadium, while every Sunday game during ACC series will also feature postgame autographs with members of the Yellow Jackets club.
Tickets for this upcoming season are now fully underway with season tickets beginning as low as $125 and adult single-game tickets starting at $8. Georgia Tech will also be offering “Family Four Packs” this season, a special package that includes four general admission tickets for just $25, at more than a 20-percent savings.
