Attaochu Earns Weekly ACC Honor

Nov. 5, 2012

THE FLATS — Georgia Tech junior outside linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu, who matched a career-high with three sacks Saturday in the Yellow Jackets’ victory at Maryland, was named ACC Linebacker of the Week Monday.

Attaochu was dominating in Saturday’s win. In addition to his three sacks, Attaochu forced a fumble, recovered a fumble, had six solo tackles including five solo tackles. Attaochu earned Linebacker of the Week honors for the second time in his career. <> Georgia Tech, 4-5 overall and 3-3 in the ACC, play at North Carolina Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
