Rosters Set for White and Gold Game

THE FLATS – The rosters are set for Saturday’s White and Gold Game, presented by Georgia’s Own Credit Union. Georgia Tech football’s spring game kicks off at 1 p.m. at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Tech has split its roster into two teams for Saturday’s game – Team Wreck ‘Em, which will occupy Grant Field’s west (home) sideline), and Team Swam, which will be on the east (visitor) sideline.

While the roster is divided into two teams, all offensive players (minus quarterbacks) will wear white jerseys and all defensive players will wear gold jerseys. Quarterbacks and specialists will wear green jerseys and will be available to play for both teams.

The game will feature four quarters. The first half will consist of two 12-minute quarters with standard clock operations. After a short halftime, the second half will consist of two 15-minute quarters with a running clock. Should it be deemed necessary by the coaching staff, the length of the quarters in the second half may be reduced.

Following the conclusion of the game, fans are invited to remain in their seats for the announcement of the 2023 White and Gold Awards. The following awards will be handed out in an on-field ceremony:

  • Rock Perdoni Outstanding Defensive Lineman Award
  • John Davis Outstanding Offensive Lineman Award
