Yellow Jackets Wrap Up Zone Diving Championship

AUBURN, Ala. – Georgia Tech brought the Zone Diving Championship to a close Wednesday at Auburn with a 19th-place finish from Chris Khosravi on the platform.

Khosravi scored 277.40 points in the preliminary competition, but missed moving on to the finals by less than 20 points.

The Zone Diving Championship represents the only opportunity for college divers to qualify for the NCAA National Championship. Tech saw its men’s and women’s divers reach the finals on the 1-meter and 3-meter springboards earlier in the week, but did not achieve NCAA qualification.
