THE FLATS – Georgia Tech men’s tennis has three players on the All-ACC Academic Team, the conference announced on Thursday.
After earning All-ACC honors, Andres Martin, Marcus McDaniel and Keshav Chopra received All-ACC Academic team honors for their combination of athletic ability and academic standing.
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career for undergraduate students. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
Martin and Chopra have extended their success on the court to the pro level having both recently earned pro points at recent futures events.
