Women's Tennis Upends Virginia Tech

MIAMI, Fla. (March 8) – The 34th-ranked Georgia Tech women’s tennis team defeated No. 54 Virginia Tech, 5-2, March 8.

The Yellow Jackets (5-4) swept doubles to claim the first point of the day and won four singles matches en route to their second-straight victory. Bobbi Guthrie, Lea Miller, Jaime Wong and Kristen Roberson each turned in winning singles efforts.

Georgia Tech returns to action Sunday in Atlanta, when it hosts South Carolina at 1:30 p.m. at Bill Moore Tennis Center.
