THE FLATS – Due to inclement weather that hit Atlanta this morning, the women’s tennis doubleheader against Georgia State and Mercer, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed to Monday. Georgia Tech will now open its spring slate on Jan. 13 at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex.
Monday’s matchups with begin at 1 p.m. versus Mercer, followed by Georgia State at 5 p.m. Admission to both matches is free to spectators.

Georgia Tech returns seven letterwinners from last season’s squad that went 14-10 overall and 9-4 in Atlantic Coast Conference play. The Yellow Jackets welcomed two newcomers that made their collegiate debuts in the fall in Olivia Carneiro (São Paulo, Brazil) and Taly Licht (Hollywood, Fla.).
Full Steam Ahead
Full Steam Ahead is a $500 million fundraising initiative to achieve Georgia Tech athletics’ goal of competing for championships at the highest level in the next era of intercollegiate athletics. The initiative will fund transformative projects for Tech athletics, including renovations of Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field (the historic home of Georgia Tech football), the Zelnak Basketball Center (the practice and training facility for Tech basketball) and O’Keefe Gymnasium (the venerable home of Yellow Jackets volleyball), as well as additional projects and initiatives to further advance Georgia Tech athletics through program wide-operational support.
