The Yellow Jackets look to get back to winning ways on Wednesday coming off a hard-fought loss against Auburn last Sunday. Nerea Hermosa continues to lead the Jackets offensively this season, nearly missing a double-double against Auburn contributing 11 points and a team-high nine rebounds. She owns a team-best 12.2 points per game average and is second on the team in rebounding with a 7.8 rebounds per game average. Lorela Cubaj leads the Jackets and ACC in rebounding, securing 10.4 rebounds per game on average.

Hofstra comes into Wednesday’s matchup on a two-game win streak, having defeated Malloy and most recently, Loyola Maryland. Guided by third-year head coach Danielle Santos Atkinson, the Pride are facing their first ranked opponent since 2015. JaKayla Brown leads the Hofstra offense with a team-high 15.7 points per game average. Jaylen Hines follows averaging 10.7 points and a team-high 5.7 rebounds per game.

Georgia Tech and Hofstra meet for the fourth time on the hardwood in program history and first since 2000 on Wednesday. The Jackets lead the all-time series, 3-0, dating back to the first meeting in 1992, and hold a 2-0 advantage when competing in Atlanta.
