Georgia Tech looks to get back to winning ways making the short trip to in-state rival Georgia on Sunday. The Yellow Jackets dropped a hard-fought decision at Purdue on Wednesday in the 14th installment of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, falling to the Boilermakers on a buzzer beater. Digna Strautmane led all scorers with a game-high 18 points, going 7-for-12 from the field. Lorela Cubaj dominated on the glass, pulling down 20 rebounds to match her career high and become the first player in the ACC to record 20 or more rebounds in a game.

Georgia comes into the Sunday matinee undefeated after picking its third-straight road victory, defeating Texas Tech on Thursday. The Lady Bulldogs have won four games at home this season and are paced by three averaging double-figure scoring numbers. Jenna Staiti leads the team, averaging 13.1 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. Georgia opened the season with four-straight home games before hitting the road for the last three.

Georgia leads the all-time series against Georgia Tech, 36-7, but the Yellow Jackets took the last meeting in Athens in 2019. The Jackets have won three of the past five meetings dating back to 2016. Georgia took the meeting last season in McCamish Pavilion in overtime.
