Georgia Tech brings a five-game winning streak into Sunday’s contest after rolling to a 78-49 victory over Boston University on Dec. 21 before the holiday break (Tech’s originally scheduled game at Pitt on Dec. 30 was postponed to Jan. 11 because of health and safety protocols within Pitt’s program). Against the Terriers, two Yellow Jackets finished in double-figure scoring numbers paced by Eylia Love’s career-high 19 points. Love has posted two consecutive games in double-figures and five of the past six outings. Lorela Cubaj recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 12 points and 14 rebounds.

Louisville comes into the contest on an 11-game winning streak, having dropped its only game in the season-opener. The Cardinals opened ACC play on Thursday with a dominate victory over Boston College. Three Cardinals average double-figures on the season, paced by Kianna Smith at 12.0 points per game. Emily Engstler posts 10.3 points and a team-high 8.7 rebounds per game to lead Louisville on the glass. Louisville is 4-1 when competing on the road, including a 1-1 record on neutral ground.

Sunday’s matinee marks the ninth meeting on the hardwood between the programs. Tech seeks its first-ever win over Louisville as the Cardinals own an 8-0 all-time record against the Yellow Jackets.
