Women’s Basketball Announces Non-Conference Schedule

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech women’s basketball will host five home non-conference games in McCamish Pavilion during the regular season and hit the road for six tilts, as the full 2022-23 non-conference schedule was announced Tuesday.

Fans get get a preview of the 2022-23 team in exhibition play when the Yellow Jackets play host to Clayton State on Nov. 3.

Action officially kicks off with a pair of home games at McCamish Pavilion when the Yellow Jackets welcome Georgia State (Nov. 10) and Kennesaw State (Nov. 13). Tech will play its first contest away from Atlanta on Nov. 16, traveling to Auburn, before returning home on Nov. 20 to welcome in-state rival, Georgia.

Previously announced, Georgia Tech is one of eight teams set to compete in the Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero, Fla., over Thanksgiving week. The Jackets will face USF in first round action on Nov. 25 at 7:30 p.m.

Georgia Tech continues its travels, making stops at Michigan State for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Dec. 1 and Belmont on Dec. 4. The non-conference schedule is capped off with home contests against Central Michigan (Dec. 11) and Furman (Dec. 21).

Women’s basketball season tickets are available for just $65, offering fans the best ticket value and a reserved seat for all Georgia Tech women’s basketball home games. Courtside seats are also on sale for $150. Patrons can visit www.ramblinwreck.com/tickets, call 1-888-TECKTIX, or stop by the Georgia Tech ticket office to purchase season tickets or courtside seats.

Georgia Tech returns seven letterwinners from last season’s squad that went 21-11 overall and made its second consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Additionally, the Yellow Jackets welcome six newcomers to the roster, including a pair of transfers.
