THE FLATS – No. 14 Georgia Tech volleyball has sold out general admission tickets for what is currently set to be its second consecutive top-five match against No. 3 Pitt on Nov. 19 at 4 p.m. in O’Keefe Gymnasium, as announced on Friday.
The sellout marks the eighth for the Yellow Jackets this season. Tech has now sold out eight of its last nine home matches dating back to Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate with Georgia on Sep. 18. Fans are encouraged to secure tickets for the Jackets’ final regular season home match against Clemson Nov. 24 at 2 p.m. well in advance HERE.
Although general admission tickets for the Pitt match have been sold out, limited seating remains available for Georgia Tech students with free admission at the door on a first-come, first-served basis. A valid BuzzCard must be displayed in order for students to receive a ticket to the match.
Fans unable to attend the battle between two of the ACC’s best against Pitt may follow along as the match will be broadcast live on ACC Network, and live stats will be provided.
The Jackets were recently tabbed No. 14 in the latest AVCA top 25 poll following another undefeated ACC weekend with 3-1 victories over Miami and Florida State. The Yellow Jackets swept the Atlantic Coast Conference weekly awards as junior outside hitter Julia Bergmann earned her fourth ACC Player of the Week honor this season, the most in the conference since 2015, while freshman outside hitter Bianca Bertolino was named ACC Freshman of the Week for the fourth time this season to lead the league as well.
