DETROIT — After previewing Ford Field during the Detroit Lions’ NFL game versus the Minnesota Vikings yesterday, Georgia Tech conducted its first practice on the field where Wednesday’s 2018 Quick Lane Bowl versus the Minnesota Golden Gophers will take place.
Monday’s highlights included:
- a 75-minute practice at the home of the Detroit Lions and the site of the 2018 Quick Lane Bowl, Ford Field. The practice marked two key milestones for Georgia Tech — the last practice for 2018’s seniors and the last practice for head coach Paul Johnson. Coach Johnson usually elects a player to “break it down” at the end of each practice, but this time the players returned the favor, electing him to break it down one last time.
