Tuesday's Baseball Game against Savannah State Moved to 6 p.m. Start

May 7, 2011

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech baseball’s midweek game against Savannah State on Tuesday, May 10, has been moved to a 6 p.m. first pitch from its originally scheduled 4 p.m. start.

The time change was made to accommodate travel time for Savannah State’s trip to Atlanta.

The two teams will play for just the second time in program history, and first since the 2004 season. Tech defeated the Tigers by a 13-4 decision in the lone meeting on Feb. 18, 2004.

The game on Tuesday will be the fourth in as many days for the Jackets. Tech begins a three-game non-conference series at Illinois-Chicago on Saturday at 8:05 p.m.
