Georgia Tech fans can purchase the helmets that the Yellow Jackets wore last night for the Throwback Thursday game.
As Tech defeated Virginia, 24-7, the Yellow Jackets donned special “throwback” uniforms similar to those worn by the team from 1968-71. The throwback look included gold jerseys, white pants, white helmets and black cleats.
The actual helmets worn by the players last night are available for auction. To participate, fans should register their cell phone at Sting Mobile. Simply log onto www.stingmobile.com.
Once registered, fans can also use Sting Mobile to receive live stats and enter trivia contests during home football games.
The throwback helmets will also be available for auction on ramblinwreck.com beginning Monday.
