Three Jackets Victorious In Singles Flights At Clemson Tennis Classic

CLEMSON, S.C. (Oct. 1) — Georgia Tech’s Romain Coirault, Sergio Aguirre and Robert Wright all won their opening-day flighted singles matches Friday afternoon as the Yellow Jackets opened play in the Clemson Fall Classic in Clemson, S.C.

Coirault won at No. 1, while Aguirre and Wright won in the No. 5 and 6 flights, respectively.

In the singles open draw, redshirt freshman David Wright posted a pair of victories, while freshman walk-on Travis Iams won once.

The Jackets continue play at the Clemson Fall Classic Saturday and Sunday.
