Nov. 2, 2007

ATLANTA – Three members of the Georgia Tech men’s tennis team will be competing at the Seminole Invitational this weekend in Tallahassee, Fla.

Seniors Jose Muguruza and Scott Blackmon will be joined by freshman Guillermo Gomez in the A Division singles draw at the Florida State tournament. The event will begin play on Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. Singles draws will be played on both the Florida State and Florida A&M courts.

Muguruza won the Crimson Tide Fall Championship consolation singles draw last weekend. Also returning to the court off a good performance is Gomez, an Alicante, Spain native, who reached the quarterfinals at the ITA Wilson Mideast Region Championships two weekends ago.
