Tennis Teams Visit Camp Twin Lakes

June 27, 2008

ATLANTA – Camp Sunshine is a local program that offers support, hope, and love for children who have cancer and their families. Based out of Atlanta, this camp conducts many of their recreational programs at Camp Twin Lakes, a facility near Rutledge, GA.

Thursday, representatives from Georgia Tech’s men’s and women’s tennis teams made the journey out to Camp Twin Lakes to spend the morning working with kids on the tennis courts. Not only did they work on them with just basic tennis skills, but they also took plenty of pictures, signed autographs, and did an overall great job in making these kids smile….and I have plenty of pictures to show for it (see link above).

Another outstanding job by Georgia Tech student-athletes in the community!
