Tech's DePaolo Advances at South Carolina Fall Invitational

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Rookie Jack DePaolo was the lone winner for the Georgia Tech men’s tennis team on the opening day of the South Carolina Fall Invitational in Columbia, S.C.

DePaolo advanced to the second round of the A/B Singles Draw of the event with a victory over teammate Noah Tyler in the first round. After taking the first set by a 6-2 score, DePaolo then cruised to a 6-3 win in the second set. He will now face NC State’s Matt Simeon in the next round on Saturday at 8 a.m.
