Tech's Clevenger, Bell Named to Academic All-District 3 Team

ORLANDO, Fla. (Nov. 19) – Georgia Tech senior setter Carolyn Clevenger and sophomore middle blocker Ky Bell were named to the GTE Academic All-District 3 Volleyball Team on Thursday for their outstanding achievements as student-athletes.

Clevenger, Tech’s first female academic all-America a year ago, carries a perfect 4.0 GPA while double-majoring in Public Policy and History, Technology and Science. She averaged 10.13 assists/game for the Jackets before suffering a season-ending foot injury, and finishes her career ranked third on Tech’s all-time assist list with 2,804.

Bell maintains a 3.90 GPA as a Management major. She ranks second on the squad in kills (334), second in blocks (107) and third in digs (243).
