Tech Women's Tennis Rained Out At Pepperdine

March 6, 2002

ATLANTA — The 22nd-ranked Georgia Tech women’s tennis team’s try for a fourth-straight victory and third in a row in California was halted as rain stopped the Yellow Jackets’ match at Pepperdine on Wednesday afternoon.

The Yellow Jackets (9-2) had lost the doubles point in the match and were looking to bounce back in singles play when the match was halted due to rain.

The match-up with the 42nd-ranked Waves was to be the final leg of Tech’s spring break trip to California and no make-up will be scheduled.

The Yellow Jackets will return to action this Sunday, when they host 75th-ranked Furman at the Bill Moore Tennis Center, beginning at noon.
