Tech-Wake Forest to Kick Off at 12 noon

Nov. 6, 2001

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech’s Nov. 17 game at Wake Forest has been chosen for television by the Jefferson-Pilot Teleproductions/ACC network and will kick off at 12 noon, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Tuesday.

In Atlanta, the game will air on Fox Sports Net South, with Steve Martin, Rick Walker and Mike Hogewood handling the announcing duties.

That gives the Yellow Jackets 10 televised games out of 12 this season, equalling the 2000 season for the most regular-season TV appearances in Tech history. The Yellow Jackets’ Nov. 24 game with Georgia and the Dec. 1 game at Florida State will both be televised nationally by ESPN. The Georgia game will kick off at 7:45 p.m., and an announcement of the kickoff time for FSU will come on Nov. 19.
