Georgia Tech Volleyball Team Defeats the Hoyas in Three Games

The Georgia Tech volleyball team defeated Georgetown in three games, 30-28, 30-26, 30-24, in O’Keefe Gymnasium on Saturday in the Georgia Tech Classic. The Yellow Jackets improve to 3-2, while Georgetown moves to 2-3 on the season. For the Jackets, senior Maja Pachale totaled 12 kills while Lauren Sauer chipped in 10. Amanda Hess and Pachale each had seven digs while Kele Eveland posted 26 assists.

Georgetown’s Lauren Warner totaled 15 kills while Anna Kleinsorge chipped in seven. Defensively Yulia Vtyurina led the Hoyas with 12 digs.

The Jackets will return to action tomorrow when they face LSU (2-3) on Sunday at 3 p.m. in O’Keefe Gymnasium in the final match of the Georgia Tech Classic. -30-
