Feb. 22, 2002

ATLANTA — Fresh off a strong performance at the 2002 ACC Indoor Championships, which included the women’s first conference title, the Georgia Tech men and women’s track and field teams will compete Saturday at the Virginia Tech Last Chance Invitational in Blacksburg, Va.

This meet will offer a chance for several Yellow Jackets to meet qualifying marks for the 2002 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, which are slated for March 8-9 at Fayetteville, Ark.

Tech will also have a chance to qualify student-athletes next weekend, as it travels to several meets, including the Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa.
