TROY, Ala. – Georgia Tech softball (19-11, 3-3 ACC) kicked off its six game road trip with a 5-1 victory over Troy (18-12) on Tuesday night.

SophomoreΒ Cameron Stanford hit a two-run homer over right center, scoring seniorΒ Katie Krzus to move the score to 4-1.

The Yellow Jackets continue their six game road trip, heading to Greenville, S.C. to take on Furman on Wednesday, March 20 for a 7 p.m. matchup on SoCon Digital Network.
