Tech To Play Fresno State In Roady's Humanitarian Bowl

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech (7-5) will take on Fresno State (8-4) out of the WAC in the 2007 Roady’s Humanitarian Bowl on Dec. 31 in Boise, Idaho. Kick-off will be 2:00 PM EST and the game will be televised on ESPN2. Tech is one of just six schools in the nation to play in a bowl game in each of the last 11 years and own a 22-13 (.629) all-time in bowls.

This will be the second time that Tech has participated in the Humanitarian Bowl. In 2004, the Jackets defeated Tulsa, 52-10. Tech ranks third all-time in bowl winning percentage and tied for eighth in wins. Georgia Tech and Fresno State have met just once before, a 30-21 Bulldog victory in the 2002 Silicon Valley Classic in San Jose, Calif.
