ATLANTA – The Georgia Tech men’s tennis team (5-3) will travel to North Carolina to take on the 15th-ranked Duke Blue Devils Saturday at 12 noon and the 32nd-ranked Wake Forest Demon Deacons Sunday at 1 p.m.

The women (7-2) begin their West-coast swing with matches against San Diego and 42nd-ranked San Diego State on Sunday and Monday, respectively, and conclude their trip with a contest against 30th-ranked Pepperdine on Wednesday. All three matches will begin at 5 p.m. ET.

Sophomore West Nott leads the men’s team with six singles victories, while teaming with Scott Schnugg to form the Yellow Jacket’s No. 2 doubles team. The duo is currently ranked 56th in the national doubles rankings, and carries a six-match win streak into this weekend’s contests.

On Saturday, the men are hoping to pull off an upset against a Duke team that boasts 39th-ranked Philip King and 46th-ranked Mike Yani. The Jackets will then travel to Winston-Salem for a 1 p.m. contest against Wake Forest. Tech carries a series record of 18-8 into the match against the Demon Deacons, and has taken seven of the last eight matches.

Freshman Catherine Gunn leads the Tech women with a perfect 9-0 record in dual match play. Sophomore Fallon Koon also boasts an unbeaten record with her 4-0 start in the dual match season.
