Tech Swimming & Diving Returns To Action Saturday In Ft. Myers

Jan. 6, 2012

ATLANTA – The Georgia Tech swimming and diving team returns to the pool after a two month-long break when the Yellow Jackets battle Florida Gulf Coast, Liberty and North Dakota Saturday in Ft. Myers, Fla.

The meet begins at 11 a.m. at the FGCU Aquatic Center.

Although a number of Jackets swam at the AT&T Winter Nationals in early December, they have not competed as a team since the Georgia Tech Invitational in late November, when the men and women each placed fourth overall.

GT now begins the championship portion of its schedule, which culminates in mid-February with the ACC Championship.

Following Saturday’s meet in Ft. Myers, the Ramblin’ Wreck returns home to host Florida State and NC State at the GT Aquatic Center on January 14.
