Monroe, La. — The Georgia Tech softball team’s scheduled game on Friday afternoon against Mardi Gras Classic tournament host Louisiana-Monroe was postponed due to inclement weather. A shortened tournament schedule is scheduled to get underway at 8:00 a.m., on Saturday morning.
The Yellow Jackets will face the ULM Indians at approximately 10 a.m. on Saturday and will finish pool play later in the afternoon against Arkansas and Drake. The top two teams in each four-team pool will advance to the tournament semifinals on Sunday, with the two winners meeting for the tournament championship later in the day.
