ATLANTA – No. 19 Georgia Tech (19-5) softball will host the Yellow Jacket Invitational, Tuesday-Wednesday, March 8-9, at Glenn Field. The Jackets will take on Boston and Oakland at Noon and 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
Boston University and Oakland University will play a doubleheader on Tuesday beginning at 1 p.m. OU will then take on Georgia State on Wednesday after they face the Yellow Jackets at 2 p.m. BU will conclude play on Wednesday against Tech at Noon.
The Yellow Jackets will open up Atlantic Coast Conference play this weekend against North Carolina. The three-game series will feature a doubleheader on Saturday and a single game on Sunday, both beginning at Noon. UNC won one of three games against No. 20 Florida State and stands at 14-7, 1-2 ACC heading into this week.
