Tech Sells Out Homecoming Game with NC State

Sept. 25, 2001

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech’s Oct. 20 game with NC State, which is the Yellow Jackets’ homecoming game this season, has been sold out. It is the fourth sellout in six home games for Tech this season.

Also, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Monday that Tech’s game at Duke on Oct. 6 will not be televised, and Duke has set the kickoff time at 1 p.m. Kickoff time for the NC State game will be announced on Oct. 8.

The NC State sellout leaves tickets available only for Tech’s two Thursday night games, Oct. 11 vs. Maryland and Nov. 1 vs. North Carolina. Both have kickoff times of 7:30 p.m. This weekend’s game against Clemson and the Nov. 24 home finale against Georgia sold out before the season began. Tech also sold out its home opener against The Citadel on Sept. 1.
