Tech Loses Close Doubles Match

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech men’s tennis dropped its opening doubles match by a score of 6-4 and 7-6(3). The pairing of Keshav Chopra and Chen Dong lost their doubles match Monday to Simon Junk and Nikola Savic of Ole Miss.

Chopra and Dong come off two days of singles play where they won three matches and dropped two matches. The pairing kicked off their doubles match at 1 p.m. The match was hard fought going to a tiebreaker in the final set before the pairing eventually fell

Next up for the Jackets is main draw play for No. 26 Marcus McDaniel and No. 31 Andres Martin. They begin their tournament on Wednesday, Oct. 6.
