Tech-Georgia Game Set For 12 Noon Kickoff

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech’s regular-season finale at Georgia has been selected for television by CBS Sports and will have a 12 noon kickoff, the Atlantic Coast Conference and Southeastern Conference offices announced Tuesday, November 7.

The game will air in Atlanta on WGCL-TV (Ch. 46), with Craig Bolerjack and Dean Blevins calling the game.

Tech’s game at Maryland on Nov. 18 also will kick off at 12 noon and be televised by the Jefferson-Pilot/ACC network, airing in the state of Georgia on Fox Sports Net South. Steve Martin, Rick Walker and Scott Pryzwansky make up the announcing crew for that game.

With the CBS and Jefferson-Pilot selections, every Tech game this season, except the home opener against Central Florida, will have been televised.

Other ACC games on TV the Saturday after Thanksgiving include Virginia at Virginia Tech on ESPN at 7:30 p.m., and Wake Forest at NC State, also on ESPN, at 12 noon.

In other ACC games on Nov. 18, ABC selected the Florida State-Florida game that Saturday for an 8 p.m. kickoff, and also will televise the Clemson-South Carolina game at 3:30 p.m. Wake Forest at Navy will kickoff at 12 noon, and NC State-Virginia will begin at 2:30 p.m., neither on television.
