Tech Drops ACC Match Against Wake Forest

Georgia Tech lost their second ACC game in as many days as Wake Forest defeated the Jackets in four games (20-30, 30-28, 21-30, 25-30) on Saturday night. With the loss, Tech falls to 13-9, 9-4 ACC on the season and the Demon Deacons improve to 13-9, 6-7 ACC.

The Jackets were led by Callie Miller’s 16 kills while Talisa Kellogg and Ulrike Stegemann each recorded 14 kills. Jennifer Randall and Kellogg also paced Tech in digs with 12 each on the night.

Wake Forest was led by Jessica Furlong in both kills and digs as she posted 17 kills and 14 digs, both game-highs. Natalie Mullikin, Christy Williams, and Lauren Peterson all had double-digit figures in kills and three other Deacon players recorded over 10 digs each.

Georgia Tech will return to action next weekend as they will host Miami on Friday and Florida State on Saturday.
