Tech Adds Baseball Game With Savannah State on Wednesday

May 5, 2003

ATLANTA – The 11th-ranked Georgia Tech baseball team has added a game against Savannah State to its 2003 schedule. The Yellow Jackets will host the Tigers at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7 at Russ Chandler Stadium.

Tickets will be available at the stadium box office. Georgia Tech baseball season ticket holders should identify themselves and will be granted admission at both the first and third base ticket booths.

Georgia Tech (33-13, 12-6 ACC) and Savannah State (31-10) were originally scheduled to play on Apr. 9 in Atlanta, but that game was canceled due to inclement weather.

Wednesday’s game will be broadcast on WREK-Radio (91.1 FM).

The Yellow Jackets, who play at Georgia State on Tuesday, will visit Virginia for a three-game Atlantic Coast Conference series this weekend. Tech plays its final regular season games at Russ Chandler Stadium on May 15-17 against NC State.
