T-Day Game Set For Saturday At Noon

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech will put the finishing touch on spring practice with its annual T-Day Game Saturday at noon in Bobby Dodd Stadium. There is no charge for admission.

Fourth-year head coach Paul Johnson will split up his squad later this week for Saturday’s game, which is expected to last around two hours.

What the fans should know about Saturday:

Parking – Limited parking is available in Peters Parking Deck, Klaus, the Student Center, Fowler Street, East O’Keefe and W21. Parking before noon is free. At noon, there will be a charge to park in the Peters and Klaus decks. For fans coming from Marta or the Varsity on North Avenue, the Third Street walking tunnel will be open.

Pre-Game Festivities – Activities, including games for kids, a DJ, Buzz the mascot, the Ramblin’ Wreck and more begin at 11 a.m. on Callaway Plaza (located outside the north end of Bobby Dodd Stadium).

Game Entry – Gates 4,5 and 7 will be open beginning at 11 a.m.

Concessions – Will be open on the north, east and west concourses.

Weather — The forecast for Saturday includes temperatures in the low 80s under partly-cloudy skies.

Post-Game – The football game will end in plenty of time for those wanting to attend the 3 p.m. baseball game between Georgia Tech and Boston College at Russ Chandler Stadium.
