His line: (L,0-2)4.1 IP, 7 H, 7 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 6 SO. 3B Derek Dietrich (.250) went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts asTeam USA defeated Chinese-Taipei 4-2 at Durham, N.C. CF Chris House (.313) was 1-for-5 including a strikeout. CCole Leonida (.273) went 2-for-4 with an RBI double, anopposite-field two-run homer, and two strikeouts. 3B Patrick Long (.300) was 2-for-4 with a stolen base. RFLuke Murton (.241) went 0-for-2 with two walks and astrikeout. 2B Thomas Nichols (.214) was 0-for-4 with a walk. CFJeff Rowland (.373) went 3-for-6 with a triple, an RBIsingle and a strikeout. SS Jeff Ussery (.196) was 1-for-4 with a double and twostrikeouts.
