1B Chase Burnette went 0-for-4 with a walk. CF Chris House (.284) was 5-for-10 with a home run, three RBIand a strikeout at Duluth swept a doubleheader with Brainerd. RHPKevin Jacob faced the final four batters as Youse’sMaryland Orioles beat College Park 11-1 to capture the championshipof the Cal Ripken Sr. League. His line: 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB,1 SO. C Cole Leonida (.205) went 1-for-3 with an RBI double, a walkand two strikeouts. 3B Patrick Long was 2-for-3 with a solo homer, a sacrifice flyand an HBP. CF Jeff Rowland went 3-for-5 with an RBI.
